How to register?
Registration first, from the left menu - Fill in the registration form.
Check your mailbox for a confirmation email sent from our system.
Confirm your registration by following the link included in the confirmation
email,
Enter your username and password when being asked.
Your account was registered.
I do not receive a confirmation email from ResumePromo.com, why?
Possible reasons are:
You have provided a false email address
You have mistyped your email address
Your spam filter prevented emails from ResumePromo.com, check your spam filter
to make sure your system accepts email from ResumePromo.com
I received the confirmation email, now what?
Click that link included in the confirmation email – enter your registered
username and password – And you’re in – You can search jobs, Apply online, edit
your profile, contact employers via our message centre, subscribe to JobMail
system…
But I can’t login, why?
Make sure you use the correct username and password.
Make sure your web browser is set “cookies enabled”. Check this at
Tools-Options-Cookies.
How long is my CV / Resume document kept on file?
1 year. We’ll remind you couple of days prior to the expiration date. You
then can renew your resume.
How do I keep my Resume Private?
We offer several privacy levels for jobseekers, you can set your resume for
your use only. This means that you will be able to apply online for jobs, but
potential employers and recruiters will not be able to view your resume when
searching our resume database (unless you've sent it to them directly). To do
this, click on the check box on the first line in your resume that reads “Click
here if you don't want any employers to view your resume. Will be used only for
Online Apply.”
How do I use Keyword search?
In our Advanced Search feature, you may select how you want to use the
keywords in your search. If you select ANY WORDS, you'll see jobs that contain
at least one of the keywords you listed. With ALL WORDS or EXACT PHRASE
selected, the resulting jobs must contain all of the keywords or the exact
phrase you listed.
Can I search job within a specific salary range?
Yes, you can. Our Advanced Search feature lets you choose the pay ranges you
want to see. If you don't select any, we'll show all available jobs. Note: Many
corporations are prohibited from showing salaries online, so if you enter this
option as a search condition, you might leave out some job opportunities.
Can I search job by location?
Yes, you can. Our Advanced Search feature lets you search job in a specific
city/province.
Can I search job by job function, for example: Accounting, Marketing,…?
Yes, you can. Use our Advanced search feature.
Can I view all jobs available?
Yes, you can. Use Quick Search or Advanced Search feature, and do not enter
any search condition. Search result will show all jobs available.
What is JobMail?
JobMail is a cool feature. Still here, you can subscribe or unsubscribe any
time you like. JobMail agent will keep you informed of any new job postings by
employers that fit your resume category and some other conditions. You must
register to receive JobMail.
What is Online Apply?
A feature to save you time. You only set up a standard cover letter once to
apply for as many jobs you want. Online Apply help send your cover letter and
resume to the potential employers. |
