| NOTE : Anyone WITHOUT experience from marine technology need not apply for these positions.
A major client of ours, dealing within marine ship building & development is looking for the best marine engineers around.
The craft they are developing is the closest thing to space technology on a marine defense vessel. Using advanced Hydrofoil / Hoovercraft technology, the company develop Marine defense vessels answering to the term Silent as the snake, deadly as a dragon. This is no easy task, when the vessel is close to 100 meter, and over 1100 tons. To the company, its a technological adventure when the American navy – the most advanced in the world – has commissioned contracts of development. They now need engineers to fuel the adventure, Engineers who want to feel the exciting feeling of developing cutting edge technology. Developing “ the impossible”. That feeling – comes often at this location…. Do you want that feeling?
This year the client is working hard on development of their vessel concepts. If they succeed, more funding for a 100% working prototype awaits. So to make this, they need several good helpers. Like in a fairytale, noone can promise the outcome, but likewise – if the targets are met, the challenges are guaranteed, the adventure too, and the rewards are great. It might also be possible to overseas placements in shorter times.
We now look for the following engineer disciplines – MARINE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED !!!
- Marine Hydrodynamics / ship design
- Composite materials
- Structural analysis and designs
- Marine Machines
- Propulsion engineers
- Piping designs Ship/marine
- Electro/control systems for Ships/ offshore installations
- Plan, control and analysis.
Candidates must possess
- Minimum 5 years relevant expertise
- Strong, documented credentials,
- Police/criminal clearance / NATO clearance
- Design skills
- Experience and willingness to HANDS-ON work. ( all engineers must be willing to be a grease-monkey every now and then J )
- Must be willing to relocate to Norway!
- Must be interested in STAYING put! – we do not want jumpers…. ( mutiny = walking the plank! )
