| Responsibilities:
Manage the complete purchasing function (vendor evaluation, sourcing, development and negotiations, contracts etc.)
Critically examine procurement needs and ensure optimum procurement strategies Analyzes changes or new issues in materials and supply to reduce cost and improve quality.
Develop and implement cost savings and cost avoidance initiatives.
Work closely with projects & service departments in ensuring efficient, timely & cost-effective supply of materials & services
Must possess thorough knowledge of local market conditions, terms, leading suppliers & service providers

| Skills: |
A graduate degree preferably in Engineering, preferably Western educated with international exposure.
Minimum 8 years of purchasing and procurement experience preferably in the real estate/ construction industry in the UAE.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential.
