To establish QA strategy to support business growth and lead the QA Team to provide quality services and technical support across regions to ensure customers’ quality standards are met Proactively design systems and procedures to protect interest of both the customer and the Company Work with technical team to devise QA strategies and action plans for company to ensure company is well positioned in international standards Work with technical team to devise QA procedures to ensure strategies are executed appropriately with an aim to manage and minimize company risk Maintain cordial and professional trusting relationship with customers and vendors Common activities include: Understand customer requirements and provide strategic input to customers, factories and merchandising teams on overall quality management for the customers Oversee QA team to build and maintain professional relationship with customers and factories in the interest of customers Work with QA team and customers to develop and refine customers’ inspection procedures and requirements Oversee in-line and final product inspections and ensure consistent delivery of service for a USD1 billion business Common activities include: Lead a global QA team to manage entire work process to ensure targets are achieved and procedures are followed Manage production inspections and manpower in a cost-effective way in the interest of company Ensure timely communication with merchandising teams on productions and factories issues which affect shipments Monitor QA team to work with technical team to ensure information and work process of samples and productions are coordinated Provide technical support to merchandisers, factories and customers to ensure product quality Common activities include: Manage QA team to educate factories and merchandising teams on international, company and customer quality requirements Proactively communicate with customers, factories and merchandising teams on findings of international quality requirements Support factories to improve production standards with an aim to match customers’ quality expectations Advise customers, factories and merchandising teams on prospective quality concerns Provide direction to subordinates, factories and merchandising teams to resolve quality issues and build preventive measures Build & lead a team of 200 quality professionals across 20 countries to provide excellent service across regions Common activities include: Provide strategic guidance and accountable for the performance of the division Train and develop team members by setting and monitoring individual goals and performance towards attainment of group objectives Coach direct reports on the proper management and development of human assets Proactively build and maintain team spirit as well as improve teamwork, both within the QA team and with local merchandising teams of offshore offices. Responsible for manpower planning of team Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred Knowledge of ISO9000 / ISO14000 / AQL 2.5/4 Garment, raw materials, trims, printing and finishing. Testing standards and safety requirements of various product categories and import market. Quality management strategy, procedures and production process. Production equipment. Export process including import and export regulations Merchandising over 15 years Management: in 10 years.
