Our Client, a well established local SME, specialized in mechanical and structure fabrication work. Currently it is in a rapid phase of business expansion, our client actively looking for a qualified and experienced individual to join them as a Mechanical Draftsman/Designer Responsibilities: • Report directly to the Technical Manager • Responsible in producing mechanical fabrication drawing under the guidance of technical manager • Assist manager in updating as built drawing on full range of existing mechanical products. • Co-ordinate with factory on all mechanical fabrication work • Produce and document all the detail mechanical drawing fabrication work and product • Assist technical manger in standardizing and developing factory drawing documentation work station • Assist manager in visiting and attending to customer clarification • Participate in new product development • Ensure manufacturability of drawing before releasing to in house workshop • Maintain & update existing drawings • Specify basic manufacturing requirement (for example types of welding) in technical drawing • Able to work independently and in a team. Requirements: • Diploma, NTC or ITE in Mechanical Engineering. • 1 to 2 years experiences in using AutoCAD drawing on mechanical fabrication and structure work • Good knowledge in using computer and Microsoft package. Knowledge of creating HTML & front page is preferred • Must be fluent in speaking and writing English • Prefer to have work in mechanical fabrication of storage tank, silo, sheet metal & steel structure environment • Willingness to learn, flexible working attitude • Willing to learn and like hands-on work.
