| Description: Responsible for selling full array of consulting services to targeted new accounts, named accounts and strategic non-named accounts by means of prospecting and identifying new clients, pursuing and/or closing business, and developing relationships with executive management. Focuses on growing and expanding the revenue generated by soliciting new opportunities, and selling new services at all levels within an account. Services will include: project management services, transition services, infrastructure consulting services, infrastructure design and roll out services, security services, governance services, service support operations assessments and other IT infrastructure related consulting services.
Responsibilities:
· Identifies opportunities that consulting organization can pursue and provide successfull delivery
· Teams with consulting leadership and delivery personnel to identify new target accounts, develop selling strategy for new accounts and new opportunities within assigned accounts
· Conducts comprehensive account research on targeted accounts, as well as independent account. Conducts market research to identify new potential target accounts
· Conducts sales calls at executive levels within an account to identify key contacts, understand their critical business issues, introduce potential capabilities and secure agreement for a face-to-face meeting between prospect, Consulting leadership team and delivery team members to further the sales opportunity
· Identifies and qualifies sales opportunities by responding to inbound customer inquiries and conducting outbound calls to current and prospective clients as part of focused sales campaigns, tradeshows, or seminars
· Takes ownership and responsibility for pipeline development, lead generation, prospecting and account nurturing. Maintain relationships with strategic accounts
· Continues to develop relationships with customer’s senior management to maintain and enhance the company’s position as a partner delivering quality solutions
· Evaluates, qualifies and closes new service opportunities based on established criteria
· Retains and grows consulting service revenue within assigned accounts by providing strong account relationship and identifying and closing new service opportunities
· Conducts research to identify competition and gathers competitive intelligence on specified accounts
· Provides timely and accurate revenue and opportunities forecasts using appropriate tools
· Pursue portfolio of clients focusing on new account acquisition and existing account penetration
Qualifications:
1. Bachelors Degree or equivalent
2. Ability to sell across broad range of clients, particularly financial, retail, insurance, and healthcare
3. Experience selling IT services in the areas of security, IT optimization, IT strategy, IT governance, advanced networking and IT transformation
4. Ability to sell to Directors and C-level individuals in a consultative, solutions-oriented manner
5. Accustomed to managing a quota based on gross margin
