Ensure clinic facilities and services are maintained at a high level of operational standards including staffing, equipment and support services Develop and maintain highest possible standards of clinical practice by nursing staff within the clinic Ensure standards of practice and service delivery as laid down by local regulations and the International Standard for Medical Facilities are implemented and maintained, and that related documentation is up to date Ensure that Standard (Universal) Precautions are enforced and followed at all times. Promote and ensure a continuous Quality Improvement environment & program is maintained Maintain and improve all clinic programs Provide nursing care to expatriate patients and coordinate nursing care for all patients. Develop and maintain clinic policies and procedures consistent with the clinic and international standards of practice. Ensure that all waste is manmaged in accordance with local Regulations and the clinic standards Ensure the Clinic Standards internal audit is completed and actioned on an annual basis or more frequently if required Cover the \\\\\\\"on call\\\\\\\"needs on nominated week ends and at other times for the clinic for serious medical cases, Emergency situations, important clients and whenever required by the Chief Medical Officer of the clinic. Promote a high standard of customer satisfaction by example Ensure that all clinic staff receive regular monthly training on key elements of service provision In conjunction with the marketing staff, promote a high profile & positive image for the clinic within the community. Participate in external clinic marketing activities as required Maintain records on all member feedback through surveys, feedback mechanisms, complaint, suggestion & compliment handling and make recommendations to management accordingly Ensure quality control on all aspects of customer service and patient care. Ensure that patient flow is maintained efficiently and effectively Participate in the development of the annual budget in conjunction with the clinic management In conjunction with the clinic management , review & analyse revenue & expenditure in accordance with budget Predictions & work with the clinic management team to initiate appropriate remedial actions when deviations occur Regularly undertake analysis to ensure that clinical procedures are \\\"costed\\\"correctly Ensure that billing is accurate & that all items are invoiced - assist Clinic Manager with this function Maintain a consistently strong management on all Drugs & Disposable items kby utilizing an inventory control system. Ensure that patients are billed for all billable items. Managing and developing supplier relationahip resulting in the best possible financial terms of supplies ( equipment and D&D in terms of payment terms and actual best pricing ) Ensure that patient care is carried out in accordance with local Regulations and Legislation as well as within the Clinic Maintain responsibility for any pharmacy that is held in the clinic area to ensure security in accordance with local control and legislation Identify training needs of nursing, medical and front desk staff and recommend programs to improve service levels Propose a continuing clinical education program for all staff and include training performance as part of the performance appraisal Ensure the clinic is appropriately staffed at all times Implement a comprehensive orientation and induction program for new staff Undertake performance appraisals of all clinic nursing and support staff ( reception, cashier, client services officers, lab technician, dental assistants) , introduce KPI\\\'s for each member within clinic departments and make recommendations on career development Motivate and develop staff to a high level of performance and ensure retention of good quality staff Maintain a current inventory of all equipment and registered assets Ensure a preventative maintenance program is in place and that all equipment is regularly maintained Ensure that the Clinic Manager receives the information he/she requires to generate monthly functional reports Ensure all clinic staff and clinic medical staff time sheets are checked and signed and submitted in a timely manner Sign off on all clinic drugs and disposables Maintain monthly clinical & pharmacy meetings
