Our client currently operates over 150 stores across the Middle East with plans for extensive development over the next few years. As the Inventory Control Manager, you will be based in Egypt and will be responsible for planning and managing the department’s activities to ensure the effective control and updating of Inventory figures. You will act as the main link between the stores and the back office and the accounting department. Key Responsibilities: - Control and manage Inventory transactions: Sales, receiving, transfers between stores, change of season, change of prices, devolution etc - Calculate cost of goods sold (COGS) - Control margins on purchase orders imported data - Set physical takes’ schedule and approve the result - Generate analytical reports: Comparison sales reports, physical inventory results per season, sell outs etc - Plan and manage all the department’s activities and ensure it provides support to stores for inventory needs - You will be working together with and supporting the Store Managers, Accounting department and regional inventory department Key Requirements: - BA in Accounting of Finance / MBA is a plus - 5 years experience in inventory or related field - Must be Egyptian National - Must be analytical, with good organisational and problem solving skills - Good communication skills – written and verbal - in English and locally required language - Stock accounting program, Excel, Access.
