Dateline : 11th August 2007 (Successful candidates will be seconded to Brunei Shell) Duration of contract : About 2 years Purpose of Job:- Responsible for managing broad & diverse responsibilities of IM&T Business Continuity Planning/Disaster recovery in an effectively, optimal manner in accordance to Information Security Policy, Standard and Practices including providing assurance that in the event of a disruption of the business continuity and disaster recovery processes will ensure the timely resumption of IT services while minimising the business impact. Dimensions Annual Budget BND250k – BND400k Subordinates ISC/21 Senior BCP/DRP Analyst Principal accountabilities  Lead to address in developing IM&T business continuity and disaster recovery testing approaches, methods, guideline, procedures and policy.  Manage to address processes used to invoke the IM&T business continuity and disaster recovery plans.  Advisor and lead to address Information Security and Compliance audit (e.g. BCP/DRP).  Lead and advisor to a more focused approach & developing IT data backup, storage, maintenance, retention and restoration processes and practices in IM Company wide operations (incl. IM Care Crisis team)  Lead to address regulatory, legal, contractual, and insurance issues related to IM&T business continuity and disaster recovery.  Lead to address of IM&T business impact analysis.  Manage the annual development and maintenance of the IM&T business continuity and disaster recovery plans and its budget.  Build strong human resources management practices as related to IM&T business continuity and disaster recovery (e.g. evacuation planning, response teams).  Manage to address project development framework sign-off support. Main Contacts Internal:- IM focal points – Infrastructure, Desktop, Telecoms & Networks, Application Owners/Custodians/Business Analysts /Developers for each portfolio and Service / Asset Unit Process Owners focal points/auditors. External:- Liaises with external service providers in Brunei and outside Brunei (eg. Telbru, DSTCom, Shell Group IT security, etc). Liaises with Shell’s Baseline Assurance Office (BAO), Auditors.

Skills:

Qualifications Required  BSc. in Computer Science or related field. Preferred  Skill in IM&T disciplines.  Skill in Business processes.  CISSP - Certificate for the Information Security Professional. Competence Required Experience  10 – 15 years experiences in a broad range of IT management skills, IT professional, Information Security and business continuity / disaster recovery role including experience in Planning, Auditing, Budgeting, and Project Management of Information Security.
