| Job description: |
Teaching/Coaching
Our main focus is the primary sector, however we also run programmes for pre-school, Secondary and Adults. Successful applicants will be required to teach all these age groups.
Below is a brief outline of our major programs
Gym 4 tots- Basic gymnastics for 1- 3 years
Gymnastics- Basic to advanced gym for 5 years- Adult
Junior Sports- overview of all curricular sports for 3 – 11 years.
Parent and baby swimming- lessons for 1- 3 years
Pre- school Swimming- lessons for 3-5 years
Swimming lessons (Strokes)- lessons for 5 years- Adult
Swim Training (competitive)- Swim team and Masters training
Soccer- classes for 3 years- 15 years
Basketball- classes for 3 years- 15 years
Mini Tennis- classes for 3-5 years
Tennis- Basic to advanced tennis for 5 years- Adult
Trampolining- Basic to advanced trampolining for 3 years- Adult
Qualifications
All applicants must hold a degree in a Sports related field to at least a 2:2 classification.
We require that applicants must be confidant in coaching all the above sports to an acceptable standard and have advanced knowledge in at least one.
Applicants should have relevant coaching experience in more than one sport and should have updated coaching certificates.
A level One qualification or higher in swimming is required.
Contract/ working hours
Successful applicant will sign a 2 year contract, during which they are required to coach up to 8 hours a day. If not coaching they are required to make up those hours by assisting our office staff with administration and event organisation.
Remuneration
Multi-Sport pays the coaches a basic salary every month. Coaches then get an hourly wage for each hour coached.
An average monthly salary for a starting coach is between HK$20-25, 000. In addition coaches will receive a bonus at the completion of their contract, travel expenses and a one off payment for mobile telephone.
Holiday/medical/MPF
Coaches can take 18 days holiday a year, which combined with the numerous Hong Kong National holidays, equals over 35 days a year
Each coach is covered by our public liability insurance and covered under our individual health insurance.
Due to Hong Kong law Multi-Sport deposits HK$1000 per month, which is matched by the coach, into a government pension scheme. This provides a great way to save while in Asia.
Working Visa
Multi-Sport will sponsor Visa application for successful applicants.
