ABOUT US:
Located in Beijing, China, International Education research Center (ChinaIERC) is an official department authorized by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. We place dynamic and high caliber foreign teachers in our partner schools to accelerate the learning and English-speaking ability of the Chinese students. Our mission is to motivate students to practice speaking English and enjoy learning English.
We offer a unique program for those who are adventurous and who want to spend an extended period of time exploring China. The students are enthusiastic and well disciplined, and are eager to learn English. Teaching Oral English is easy and pleasant for native speakers of the language. Teaching Oral English in China will give you an amazing opportunity to learn about Chinese history, geography and culture as well as be a part of the exciting changes which are happening in China today.
Our partner schools are located in several provinces such as Hunan and Henan, just to name two. We have prestigious schools joining us every day, so the list of choices keeps expanding. Our schools are located in the smaller cities in China, which gives the teacher a unique perspective on the daily life of the Chinese people. We offer an extraordinary opportunity for the adventurous individual to make a real and lasting contribution to intercultural understanding while greatly advancing their own growth.

We are looking for teachers for the spring term which begins March 1st., and placement for the spring semester will begin in February, so please make some advance preparations.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Native English speaker from America, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Europe etc.
2. No criminal record or bad habits (e.g. drug problems)
3. Good physical health
4. 19 years of age or older
5. Interested in teaching and communicating with children or teenagers
6. Optimistic and a sense of humor and adventure
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Teach Oral English
2. Work Monday through Friday
3. Teach maximum of 24 hours per week
TYPICAL BENEFITS:
1. 3,000 -8,000 RMB per month, depending on educational background, working experience and qualifications—variable by location. You can live very well since your meals and accommodations are furnished. Even if you stay close to major city you will have a wonderful time, as there is much to see everywhere. There is no need to worry about making ends meet. The average Chinese person makes only 1,000-1,500 RMB per month.

12. If you stay with us for multiple terms, travel costs may be reimbursed.
Other travel allowances or bonuses may be given for being an outstanding teacher.
As more partner schools join us, we are happy to recommend our teachers to them after the semester is over. This will give you the opportunity to change schools and locations and experience more of China.
