Skills: Profile  Asia national, fluent in English and Mandarin  Engineering background with strong commercial skills; alternative commercial education with technical background; OEM management experience preferred  5+ years management experience with P&L responsibility and particularly in sales & service function  10+ years experience in sales of technical goods; drive/engine technology preferred, hydraulics experience is preferable but not a must  Experience with western culture, during education or in professional life  Strong leadership and communication skills  Disciplined in project management  Experience in personnel leadership and has stationed in China for several years

Sales and Operation Director
(To be based in China)


Client
Our Client, is one of the global leader in Hydraulics with about 2,000 employees at its seven sites around the world, is now looking for suitably qualified leader to lead its sales & operations department.

Purpose of Position
To achieve and extend targets for Sales and Profit of the assigned market/customer area, secure and extend the market position of Company

Major Responsibilities
 Represent the company in the marketplace
 Provide leadership, guidance and co-ordination to sales and application engineers
 Supervise customer relationship management
 Participate in the definition, assignment and controlling of strategic sales targets
 Participate in the definition of product and pricing philosophy
 Define scope of OEM and distribution projects in accordance with strategic targets
 Supervise compilation of inputs for production and development planning
 Develop regional distribution network
 Analyse, cultivate and develop operative and strategic capabilities of own staff as well as the staff of assigned regional representatives
 Participate in personnel measures in context of personnel recruiting
