Job description:
The Role - Overall responsibility for the Business as Usual direction and motivation. - Control and cost effectiveness of Sales & Service, - Resource and Capacity Planning within the area - Successful deployment of on-site Training of existing and new starters. • Achieve the target of being the centre of excellence in Bahrain • Resolve complaints at first point of contact • Assess all the bank activities that can be carried out by the call centre • Implement telephone banking - Responsible for the delivery of the Service Level Agreement for each product. - The role holder delivers on-going radical development within the Sales & Service area to ensure delivery of budgets, departmental performance, process and identifying system enhancements - Responsibility for ensuring governance, risk, compliance and control within the Department across all products - Overall responsibility of capacity planning of Commercial activities. - Implementation of “first contact resolution practice within the centre. Requirements Requirements The right candidate should demonstrate the following skills: - Communication - Skills and Knowledge - Adaptability - Team Working - Interpersonal sensitivity - Taking Ownership • Influencing Telephone Technique • Letter writing • General keyboard and multi system usage • Interpersonal sensitivity • Negotiation skills • Presentation skills • Report writing / spreadsheets where needed • Planning and Organisation • Decision making • Ability to identify cross selling opportunities of products and services • A good understanding of the objectives and functions of the area in which role holder works • An in depth knowledge of the procedures of department • Extensive knowledge of the computer systems relating to the role being carried out • An understanding of statistical and financial data interpretation of information relevant to role • Extensive knowledge of the systems and processes of other Departments with whom the role holder has contact. On occasion role holders may be asked, as job experts, to investigate and comment on the validity of new processes and systems • May require an extensive awareness and knowledge of the products, services, activities and systems of the branch network and other areas which can assist in the resolution of an issue. Other knowledge needed - Excellent knowledge of Call Centre technology - Good knowledge of IT and telephony systems - An understanding of the Bank industry
