| Job description: |
Senior Field Service Manager will work on Nuclear Steam Turbine plants, will have Field Service experience in maintenance, repairs, retrofits and upgrades of existing Steam Turbines and will provide Management and technical assistance in the opening, inspection, and closing of Steam Turbines.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pre-plan, schedule, and set-up site specific resources per the service agreement.
- Direct and manage supervisors, mechanical specialists, and sub-contractors during maintenance outages.
- Implement quality control procedures during disassembly, inspection, and assembly of turbines.
- Review disassembly data and clearances and provide recommendations.
- Review unit start-up and post outage operation data and abnormalities.
- Work with LTSA Program Manager in the development and management of outage work scope.
- Communicate the technical information relating to buyer covered parts for the purpose of equipment reliability with the Resident Engineer or Program Manager.
- Visually inspect covered equipment and report results to service and repair engineering.
- Generate detailed field report in a timely manner.
- Write or review Operation and Maintenance Manual, field procedures, and related technical information.
- Interpret and apply drawings, field procedures, and technical documents to open/close activities.
- Instruct training courses for supervisors and mechanical specialists.
- Support operational functions of the Remote Monitoring Centre.
- Assist in the development of specific outage parts requirements.
Long contracts are available with excellent rates of pay.
