Position Description
The Syndicated Lending group, with key operations centers in New York and Montreal, comprise a rapidly expanding portion of the FID business. The objectives of the Operations teams of FID are to support the primary and secondary market trading desks via trade reconciliation, allocation, settlement and financial reporting. These global operations teams are supported by a global technology team based in NY and Montreal. To support the rapidly growing business demand, the IT team in very close partnership with the business unit, must build a series of applications that allow for : - Definition and buildout of a historical datawarehouse - Track and allocate CLO positions and updates with external clients - The ability to review, match and reconcile trades and trade positions with internal and external clients - Manage CLO related Loan trade workflows between the trading desk, trading assistants, and operations The focus of this technology role will include : - Building matching, reconiliation, and reporting applications - Integrating applications and providing for data exchanges between applications - Understand client growth and demand to ensure systems & infrastructure scale to meet demand - Defining and building efficient and functional User Interfaces - Engaging users to identify requirements, direction, and issues - Working closely with users and engineering teams to define the best possible solutions.
