Position Description
The Content Management engineering team is responsible for the build of the Documentum ECM platform and related products (e.g. WebTop, FAST etc.). The team has also recently added Alfresco, an Open Source content management system, to its repertoire. Besides providing platform expertise, we offer economies of scale and ease of management by creating configuration management tools for a globally distributed 100+ Docbase environment. We seek a senior engineer with extensive experience in designing and implementing content management systems and infrastructure. Candidate must be very hands-on with deep understanding of the core ECM platforms, primarily Documentum but not limited to it. 5-10 years experience in building content management applications across both Windows & Unix/Linux. Must demonstrate skills to design and code for performance and scale in near zero fault tolerant environment. The candidate will be responsible for the design, engineering and rollout of the Documentum and other ECM platforms, integration with other systems, solution development along with application design & consulting for our business divisions. A self starter with an ability to work in a globally dispersed team, understand a mixed & complicated infrastructure, excellent communication skills and a keen desire to learn and adapt to change are a prerequisite.
Skills Required
Deep knowledge of enterprise infrastructure (i.e. system administration or infrastructure engineering experience). - Experience designing/architecting Data and Content driven systems. - Expertise in Java/JSP, PERL, Sybase, Unix/Linux OS and shell scripting, Apache Tomcat - In-depth understanding of the Documentum platform and experience with WDK, DFC, DQL, API, Documentum Workflow and BOF - Team player with strong sense of commitment and ability to multitask and operate in a fast paced environment.
Skills Desired
· Nice to have - Experience with Documentum client apps like DocLoader, InputAccel etc. - Windows development, ASP.NET or C# - Alfresco.
