Position Description
A team member of Global Capital Market Application Development Group that is responsible for building and supporting trading applications for GCM. The person will participate in development and support of CD WorkStation, Order Collection, IPO and other applications that are mostly built in Java, Flex, and Spring Framework. The person needs be innovative, independent, flexible, with high ownership, and be able to take initiatives and push for results. Excellent communication skills are must for discussing requirements with business, supporting trading, and communicating with the rest global team.
Skills Required
1. BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent (PhD a plus).
2. 5+ years of software development experience.
3. 5+ years of experience in Web development using Java 3. Experience with Unix/Linux environments, distributed systems, network programming and/or developing large software systems a plus.
4. Database experience: Sybase, SQL Server or Oracle. 5. Excellent communication skills.
Skills Desired
· 1. 2+ years of experience in Flex and ActionScript is a definite plus.
2. Finance industry experience is a plus.
