| Description: The incumbent will work on multiple campaigns within the social media space that include highly stylized flash components, media placements, rich media creative and word of mouth/seeded marketing tactics.
Responsibilities:
· As a key member of the team, interfaces with clients and internal resources such as creative, developers, online PR, promotions and media
· Work closely with the company President on big-picture initiatives and top priority client and campaign needs
· Be the top tier client facing lead who will attend strategy meetings, business pitches, and new business development
· Create efforts for grassroots messaging and content placement on social media outlets such as social networks, blogs, message boards, photo/video upload hubs, etc.
· Be completely hands-on, managing all projects, resource allocation, internal department communication, billing, building relationships with sites, resources and clients
· Oversee the social media team, including manager(s), coordinator(s), part-time and internship programs, etc.
· Spearhead and oversee all integrated marketing plans, and analyze results for effectiveness
· Generate a new media marketing program for both potential and current clients
Qualifications: The incumbent should be aware of social media and be an active consumer of it –bringing an understanding of consumer usage and have a strong understanding of popular culture and current technology. A visionary with the ability to think strategically and apply creative solutions to multi-faceted, multi phase campaigns. Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of transmitting detail-oriented information and reports. Maintain and foster reputation for effective marketing tactics. Manage several campaigns at once, stay on deadline and multi-task. Utilize online metrics to gauge effectiveness of campaigns. A creative mind and understanding of new technologies and trends, driven to improve and try new marketing ideas.
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
2. Online marketing experience with social media development
3. An avid user of social media, particularly Facebook, and understands consumer engagement within the online social networks
4. Understanding of twittering, social networking, online gaming, social bookmarking, blogging and photo/video sharing
