Lead Systems Programmer
DESCRIBE THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:
Develop, design, implement & document programmed automated solutions for complex operating systems and software products. Convert alternative automation code to the current data center standard tool (CA OPS/MVS & REXX programming). Perform automation code maintenance. Work closely with all mainframe technical subject-matter-experts to discuss, evaluate, recommend and build automated solutions using our existing tool set to improve operations efficiencies & ensure maximum availability levels
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Thorough knowledge of OPS/MVS, REXX programming, TSO, ISPF programming, SDSF, SYSLOG, MVS, JES2, Change control procedures and problem management tools. Strong analytical & problem solving sills.
CICS Systems Programmer
DESCRIBE THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
This position is responsible for installation, support and availability of CICS and MQ/Series across all mainframe environments, including all related third party software products. This position will require participation in software upgrades, interfacing with other level 3 disciplines within AIGGS and a strong customer focus
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
§ Knowledge of CICS/TS & MQ/Series
§ 5 years of experience supporting the day to day production and development CICS – MQ/Series environments
§ Strong skills to install CICS & MQ/Series (through ServerPak/PDO/ESO), along with the written skills necessary to document the install and customization, including project plans, IVP’s and support documentation
§ Ability to work with vendors to manage and resolve software related problems
§ Diagnostic and debugging skills for complex system software
§ Ability to install and support mainframe software products in a production environment
§ Experience working in a client / vendor relationship
§ Skills in SMP/E, MQ/Series, IPCS or Abendaid/FX, SYSVIEW for CICS
§ Assembler language coding experience, and an understanding of Cobol language and LE
§ Provide technical solutions to problems
DB2 Systems Programmer
DESCRIBE THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:
This position is accountable for the installation, support, and availability of the all DB2 subsystems, its related software, and third party software products. The position will be involved in problem determination and support, software upgrades, and interfacing with local teams and AIG clients.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1- Knowledge of DB2 for OS/390 or z/OS platform, and the ability to install/migrate and support it.
2- Skills in SMP/E, IBM DB2 utilities, and CA-Utilities for DB2.
3- Knowledge in the use and setup of DB2 stored Procedures, JDBC, ODBC, and DB2 Connect.
4- Diagnostic and debugging skills with DB2 and its allied address spaces.
5- Experience working in a client / vendor relationship.
6- Knowledge in performance and tuning of DB2 in a production environment (DB2 CA-Insight or equivalent monitoring tools).
7- Ability to install and support DB2 OEM software products (FileAid for DB2, DB2 CA-utilities, Web focus, etc)
DB2 DBA work related knowledge a plus
Other Requirements:
Excellent teamwork skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in English
Required language(s): English.
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
