| Job description: |
| Prepares mechanical engineering specifications for equipment. Reviews vendor generated design data and documentation. Coordinates technical details of vendor provided mechanical and process equipment with other engineering disciplines to support their design deliverables. Provides some technical expertise applicable to various types of process equipment (i.e. ASME Pressure Vessels, TEMA Heat Exchangers, Rotating Equipment, etc.).
Qualifications: 5 - 7 years functioning in a mechanical engineering role.PE registration desired. ASME Section VIII experience is a plus. Significant experience in EPC work with an emphasis in the chemical industry. Can act as a backup to a lead mechanical engineer on smaller capital projects with little or no supervision.
