| Job description: |
| Ability to develop and administer strategies for the control and sharing of company database resources and services. Work with IT staff, Project controls and other Project Execution Team members to develop database architectures, coding standards, and quality assurance policies and procedures. Design and implement redundant systems, policies, and procedures for disaster recovery and data archiving to ensure effective protection and integrity of data. Analyze user requirements for reports, forms, queries and data extraction. Facilitate project execution data transfer from/to SAP. Develop and deploy end-user practices and tools for data extraction , queries, and data manipulation in accordance with business processes. Create and document models for new database development and/or changes to existing ones through data flowcharting. College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or related field and/or 8-10 years equivalent work experience. Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) is a must. Experience with database design applications, including SQL, C++, MS Access, Visual Basic & .Net. Experience with tier-one applications, databases, and data warehouses, such as Oracle 9i, MS SQL Server, Crystal & SAP. Develop and maintain SQL data transformation task scripts & procedures. Strong knowledge of all database concepts (e.g. views, partitions, indexes, stored procedures, functions, and service brokers.) Understanding of SAP ABAP Programming Language.
