| Al Fara’a Group is a diversified construction and real estate business employing over 13,000 employees with 28 years of credible experience in UAE. As part of our continued growth and evolution, we are seeking to recruit a MEP Project Manager.
Job Description:
• Sole Al Fara’a Properties representative that shall deal with all MEP and VT issues for all the projects from inception till completion
• Strong Pre-Construction background who is able to prepare project briefs for all the projects and review the Consultants progress during the Design Development stage.
• Overview the Consultants design progress and monitor their closing out outstanding design issues
• Prepare generic design guidelines and briefs for different ‘types’ of projects
• Manage the Consultants NOCs and Local Authority approvals process
• Work very closely with the QS in order to manage all commercial and budget issues
• Establish procurement strategy for all the projects and monitor their implementation
• Manage the tender, tender analysis and award phases of all work packages
• Work in parallel with the Project Manager on a day to day basis
• Pre-qualify contractors for all the MEP and VT packages
• Manage all risks for all projects
• Must have mixed experience in consultancy/ project management and contracting back ground.
• Strong verbal and written English language skills
• Degree graduated in MEP discipline with strong design management and project management skills.
• Manage all Contractors progress during their Construction Phases
• Prepare and assist the Team in the roll-out of project handover strategy for all the projects
• Provide input towards the Project Manager’s monthly report
