Our client is seeking an experienced and savvy Software Quality Assurance Specialist to collaborate with Quality, Operations, Distribution, and IT organizations to effectively deploy System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Global & Local Policies and Procedures for business process computer systems. This position will be based in Greenville, SC. Relocation Package is available and offered to highly qualified candidates. Position Details
The Software Quality Assurance Specialist will collaborate with Quality, Operations, Distribution, and IT organizations to effectively deploy System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Global & Local Policies and Procedures for business process computer systems used in and by the Greenville Distribution Center.
Collaborate with applicable Global and local functions to provide local Software Quality Assurance input, guidance, review, and disposition (approval/rejection) for software deployment projects and change requests to ensure compliance to the Project Management Process in SDLC global policy or to the change control procedures governing the system. Ensure required software deployment project or change request documents are completed and provide review and approval of such documents.
Document Examples: User Requirement Specification; Phase Review Reports; System Project Management Plan (SPMP); Quality Plan (QP); Risk Management Strategy (RMS); Functional specification (FS); Acceptance test protocol; Design Specification (DS); Configuration Management Plan (CM), etc.
Provide feedback to test script authors and review/approve (UAT) test scripts pre and post execution to assess adequacy and to ensure acceptable functional and documentation results.
Maintain a list of all computerized systems used in or by the Greenville Distribution Center.
Ensure local procedures incorporate Global and regulatory software project and change management requirements. The chosen candidate shares SQA best practices through collaboration with peers at other locations and external sources.

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in either Computer Science or a related technical field is required.
3 - 5 years hands-on experience with Software Quality Assurance in a GMP regulated manufacturing or distribution environment to include use of Software Development Life Cycle process.
1 – 2 years experience with auditing (software) Quality Management Systems would be a strong plus.
Experience with remote teams would be a plus but no prerequisite.
Experience with inventory management and/or warehouse management systems would be a plus but no pre-requisite.
Demonstrated strong project management skills are mandatory in this role.

Specialized Training: ISO and GxP training.
ISO 9001:2000 Auditor training preferred
ASQ Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) would be a plus but no pre-requisite.
