| Major accountabilities include but are not limited to:
Manage and control the day to day operations.
Plan and prepare for maintenance activities
Manage and monitor site operating conditions
Manage IR relationships with union work groups in conjunction with Site Leader and Manufacturing Manager.
Coordinate all shift activities via daily instructions,
Administer production HSE activities
Provide employment relations advice to senior management
Provide advice to silo technical personnel regarding practical opportunities for operational improvement
Maintain a training program which will develop employees’ safety attitude

| Skills: |
Ideally you will have:
Significant demonstrated process operating experience and/or supervision of chemical or petrochemical plants, combined with in-depth technical and process knowledge (ideally UCC plant experience.)
Experience in safe preparation of process plant for maintenance.
Problem solving — personnel issues, site operational issues
Demonstrated effective man-management/team leading experience, particularly operations personnel.
Budgeting experience
Negotiating experience
Business analysis techniques
Leadership and Influencing skills
Authorized Gas Safety Inspector (AGSI) qualifications
