The Unique Opportunity.
Due to continuing company success, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious Consulting professional who can demonstrate strong research skills, strategic project management and client management capabilities, within our Automotive & Transportation Consulting Practice.
Frost & Sullivan’s Automotive & Transportation Group is dedicated to partnering with leading industry players within the logistics, automotive testing and diagnostics, commercial vehicles, safety/driving assistance/warning systems and powertrain business communities, by providing strategic market research and bespoke consulting solutions. The Consultant will be responsible for partnering with Frost & Sullivan’s clients to develop strategic growth opportunities and ensure the successful delivery of market specific intellectual property.
The Consultant holds full responsibility of ensuring the validity of project content, the integrity of the research process and the development of detailed business/market strategies. The Consultant will also be the definitive point of contact for clients and will be required to demonstrate expert knowledge of the markets and develop strong business partnerships. It may also be necessary for the Consultant to serve as the primary analyst on some projects, play a supporting research role, or potentially manage a team of internal Analysts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the delivery of major strategic projects, developing bespoke client focused solutions through commercial leadership.
• Proactively develop and nurture client relationships, conducting detailed business needs analysis and demonstrating expert industry knowledge.
• Project team management.
• Conduct primary/secondary tailored market research, using detailed research methodologies.
• Interpreting/analysing key data and presenting accurate results at a senior level.

| Skills: |
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience.
The successful candidate will be a professional and committed business consultant, with a thorough understanding of market research/consulting methodologies. Proven success with direct client interaction, custom research project fulfilment and a pro-active, methodical and innovative working practice is essential, with a proven ability to deliver accurate results within a fast paced, client focused environment.
Essential:
• Previous consulting or research experience within a relevant consulting or advisory environment and/or experience within an analytical position in the Automotive/Transportation industry.
• A strong understanding of market research/consulting methodologies.
• Strong project management skills.
• Advanced ability to develop strong business relationships, create proposals, negotiate and close business.
• Articulate with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• A degree level education or equivalent.
Desirable:
• Knowledge or experience of the logistics, rail systems, automotive testing and diagnostics, chasisi technologies & driving dynamics, commercial vehicles, ITS, telematics & infotainment, powertrain and alternative propulsion, and/or safety, driving assistance and warning systems markets.
• A second European language
• A relevant postgraduate qualification (MA, MBA)
