| Our Client is a leading environmental and engineering consultancy specialising in a variety of markets. They have a wide and diverse range of projects and can offer exciting and challenging opportunities.
They are currently seeking a Principle Consultant who can provide specialist economic contributions to projects related to air quality policy, chemicals, climate change, waste and water,. Your work will include evaluation of policy measures, economic valuation, cost benefit analysis and assessment of competition / competitiveness impacts plus managing and directing multi-disciplinary teams to deliver environmental economics projects within time, quality and budget constraints.
The ideal candidate is going to have 7-10 year's relevant experience in economic valuation of both market and non market goods, economic analysis such as cost benefit, market based instruments and econometric modeling. Plus knowledge of some of the key current policies such as the Water Framework Directive, the EU Emissions Trading Scheme or the new chemicals policy, REACH.
