**Technical Consultant**
As a member of the sales team, the Technical Consultant will have regional responsibility for providing the pre-sales technical and systems support for the Sales Channels. This role involves working closely with internal engineering, project management, product development, and various operational groups to develop customer solutions.
The Technical Consultant will be expected to
-Develop/present technical network designs and solutions
-Perform and document due diligence to support customer requirements
-Liaison between the sales team and internal departments
-Attend qualified sales and vendor calls as needed
-Provide technical support as needed for both internal and external customers
-Gather technical data to prepare and present proposals to new prospects
-Provide advocacy as necessary for all post-sale customer issues until resolved
-Ensure correct technical content of all customer orders that are issued
-Design customer technical solutions with engineering diagrams
-Develop technical responses and strategy as a member of the team
-Provide timely status reports to sales team and management as required
We are looking for solution driven technical consultants who can demonstrate and provide examples of
-Great written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to work in a team oriented environment
-Undeniable contributions to growing and successful business environments
-Technical experience in Hosting, Colocation, Network Infrastructure, Telecommunications, Web Technology, IP Networking, and Content Distribution.
Requirements:
-5-15 years of sales engineering or technical consulting experience
-Broad telecommunications background and knowledge
-In-depth knowledge of IP Networking, Colocation, and Hosting
-Customer interfacing skills
-B.S., Engineering or Business
