Qualifications: You must be a native speaker of English with just a minimum of a B.A. in any field and hold a valid passport. Experience is not necessary.
Benefits you receive while working at a company-owned ECC:
-Salary of 2.0 million won and up / month ($2050 -$2450 US dollars) ($2080 -$2500 CAD dollars) (depending on education and experience)
-Guaranteed contracts; you will always be paid on time and in full by our head office in Seoul
-Only 26 teaching hours a week Monday to Friday (far less than our competitors who usually require 30 teaching hours a week)
-Prepaid “e-tickets” to Korea and return tickets upon completion of the contract.
-Rent free furnished private housing near the school (bed, refrigerator, washer, gas range, TV, air conditioner, tables and chairs)
-Relocation allowance 200,000 won ($205 US dollars)
-Visa Fee Subsidy 50,000 won ($52 US dollars)
-Korean National Medical Insurance
-Pension tax refund for Canadian and American teachers (you get 9% of your income back when you go back to your country, around $2000 US dollars)
-Year-end completion bonus (extra 1 months salary)

To qualify for the E2 teaching visa you must:
1. Be a native English speaker

Do not worry if you are a first time teacher or new to the ECC program. We offer 5 full days of paid training and orientation at our Head Office from a professional teacher trainer. During this session, there will be a "Living in Korea" segment as well, to help you get adjusted to your life in a new country.
