| Cost Engineer / Quantity Surveyor / Contracts Officer
Education – Diploma or degree in QS/ Engineering (civil or structural).
Experience –
• At least 3 years working in construction or QS firm.
• Taking of quantities from drawings and evaluate change (variation) orders.
• Understand construction processes.
• Working out tenders and bids estimate.
• Prepare progress claims and simple construction sub-contracts.
• Good command of English language.
• For the position of Contracts Officer additional experience in drafting and administrating of contracts is required.
• Applicant with more experience will be considered for the position Senior Contracts Officer or Assistant Contracts Manager.
Safety Officers / Supervisors
Education – Relevant certification in construction safety.
Experience – Minimum 2 years working in construction sites.
Civil and Structural Resident Engineers/ Clerks of Works
Education – Diploma or degree in Engineering (civil, structural, geotechnical)
Experience –
• At least 3 years on site supervising and checking experience in civil, structural steel and RC works
• Scheduling of construction works
• Basic use of level and theodolite instruments
• Resolve detailing problems
